Chi Macadamia oil organic
A cold-pressed oil from the macadamia nut. A striking feature of the oil is its content of palmitoleic acid, an omega-7 fatty acid. This fatty acid is a substance naturally occurring in the skin and the main component of skin sebum, especially in children.
Research has shown that the production of palmitoleic acid in skin sebum decreases as we age. The skin then becomes noticeably drier. Macadamia is therefore very suitable for dry and aging skin. It not only nourishes but also prevents the oxidation of skin fats. Oils with palmitoleic acid ensure easy absorption into the skin and good spreading ability.
