Thyme linalool is the mildest thyme oil with a refined fragrance: herbaceous with an undertone of lemon. This is why this plant/oil is also called lemon thyme. The oil is mild on the skin and mucous membranes. It is a purifying oil that is very suitable for children and the elderly. Thyme linalool is a so-called nerve tonic; it strengthens the body's defences. That is why the oil is good for people who quickly lose heart and let their shoulders droop. On the skin (incorporated into a base oil), thyme can be used for oily skin, but also as a rubbing oil for supple muscles and joints.
