Cedar, also known as Atlas Cedar, is an evergreen majestic conifer native to North Africa. Cedar can grow up to 40 metres high, its wood is hard and has a strong scent. Cedar was already used by the Egyptians for embalming, for cosmetic purposes and as a fragrance and incense.
