Ho leaves come from the camphor tree, linalool chemotype, native to China. The camphor tree is an evergreen tree that can grow over 30 meters tall and produces different chemotypes depending on its origin; The linalool chemotype – also called Ho leaves – is used as a substitute for the wood oil of the rosewood tree (Aniba roseodora).
