Iris is a perennial plant with sword-shaped blue flowers, now mainly cultivated in Italy. The iris plant is named after the goddess of the rainbow (iris). In ancient Rome and Greece, iris was already valued as a flavoring and medicinal plant for the treatment of skin and respiratory ailments. Iris is used as a fixative in cosmetics and perfumery; it is one of the most valuable fragrances in the world because its production is complex: after peeling, chopping, and drying, a careful 3-year storage process takes place, followed by further processing.

Usage
Cosmetic for aromatic skin care. Max. 20 drops in 50 ml PRIMAVERA almond oil organic. Cold season, exhaustion and stress, better sleep, farewell/grief, scars.
