A close relative of tea tree, also with a 'medicinal' scent: penetrating, sweet and camphor-like. Niaouli's scent resembles eucalyptus but has a more floral undertone. In an aroma diffuser and steam bath, niaouli is an excellent expectorant oil that can support respiratory complaints. The oil clears the head and allows for longer concentration at work. In skincare, mixed with a fatty plant oil, niaouli can be used for acne and oily skin.
