About Tea Tree:
The Aboriginal people of Australia used the crushed leaves of the Tea Tree tree centuries ago. Usually, the vapor from the crushed leaves was inhaled in boiling water, or people drank the 'tea' made from the leaves. It's possible the leaves were crushed and mixed with clay to form poultices for the skin. Today, the oil is used in various cosmetic products. These include colognes, disinfectants and soaps, skincare products, and toothpastes.
