What is Konjac?
Konjac, also known as "Amorphophallus konjac", is a plant native to Southeast Asia. It grows naturally in Vietnam, China, Indonesia, South Korea and Japan. Konjac has been used for more than 1500 years as food and is known for its healing and slimming properties. Asians have also used it for more than a century as a beauty treatment for sensitive skin.
What is the Konjac sponge made of?
Konjac sponges are made of 100% natural plant fibers from the Konjac root. These fibers are obtained after grinding the root into a powdery paste. This is then shaped and mixed with water, plant extracts and colored clay, which gives the sponge its color.
The Konjac Sponge is suitable for all skin types, even the most sensitive.
Composition
100% natural plant fibers - Bamboo charcoal - no artificial colors - No additives - biodegradable.
Use
1. Soak the Konjac sponge in warm water for 3 to 5 minutes to make the sponge soft and larger. Then squeeze out the excess water.
2. Gently massage your face and neck with the Konjac Sponge in circular motions. Use the sponge with or without your daily cleanser.
3. Rinse the sponge thoroughly with warm water after use. Then squeeze it to remove excess water.
4. Use the string on the sponge to hang it up so it can dry. Preferably hang the sponge in a warm, dry place. If you use the Konjac sponge daily, it will last about three months. As soon as you see signs of wear, discard the sponge.
