This Aleppo soap is made from olive oil and 35% laurel berry oil. The soap is traditionally made in Syria, by saponification in a large cauldron. It is then hand-cut, which is why pieces of Aleppo soap are somewhat irregular. It contains no additives and is known for its skin-friendly and moisturizing properties. It is a mild cleanser, has an antibacterial effect and is suitable for all skin types - even sensitive skin.
